What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assisted Living Executive Director position at Linden House Assisted Living and Memory Care?
Linden House Assisted Living and Memory is accepting resumes from qualified individuals for the Executive Director position – open due to a resignation following 3.5 years of service to Linden House. The Executive Director will oversee clinical, operational, and financial matters of this beautiful and modern ALF that contains 58 AL apartments and a 24-bed secured memory care unit. Our Memory Care unit is operated using the Teepa Snow Positive Approach to Care model and our MC Manager is certified as a PAC trainer.
Qualified candidate will be licensed as an Assisted Living Facility Administrator in Virginia or eligible to transfer licensure from another state. At least 3 years of ALFA experience desired and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of regulations governing the operation of ALFs in Virginia.
The Linden House ED is responsible for management of day-to-day facility operations. All department managers report to and are supervised by the ED who also is responsible for financial management including budgeting, monitoring and approval of expenditures, and financial reporting. The ED also represents Linden House in the local community and actively participates in community organizations whose members may be referral sources.

- Friendly and helpful demeanor with residents, direct reports, and departmental staff.
- Common sense approach to prioritization and implementation of strategic activities designed to maintain and improve Linden House’s success is all areas of operation.
