LPNs are an integral component of providing for the well-being, safety, and health of Linden House residents. In fact, at Linden House, the official job title of this position is “Wellness Nurse”.
The LPN Wellness Nurse is responsible for providing oversight to resident care on their shift. This includes administering or overseeing the administration of prescribed medications, providing guidance and supervision to Nursing Assistants and RMAs , responding to special needs and emergencies, and communicating appropriate information to residents, families, management, and direct care staff.
To be considered, candidates must have a current, valid LPN license issued by the VA Dept of Health Professions or from a compact state.
