Overview
This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Irrigation Tech at Linden Landscape Services in Bozeman, MT. The Irrigation Tech Lead will be responsible for overseeing the irrigation systems, scheduling and conducting maintenance any repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal functioning of all irrigation components.
Duties
- Assist with coordination of landscaping and garden maintenance activities with Account Manager and Maintenance Supervisor for proper watering times.
- Oversee irrigation systems and ensure proper watering of plants.
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on irrigation systems, including fixing leaks, adjusting sprinkler heads, and replacing parts.
-Evaluate work projects, estimate time and materials needed, and acquire necessary resources.
-Troubleshoot electrical faults in irrigation systems and pump stations.
-Start and Winterize irrigation systems.
Qualifications
- Must have 2 years of irrigation experience
- Experience in irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair is a must.
- Knowledge of irrigation system components and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to interpret irrigation plans and drawings
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Certification in irrigation systems is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 60 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Extended hours
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
- Year round work
Experience:
- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Required)
- Irrigation Repair and/or Install: 2 years (Required)
