Job Summary
Come join our growing practice! We are a private mental health practice in Urbandale, IA consisting of three nurse practitioners and four therapists. We are currently seeking an additional PMHNP to add to our practice. We strive to maintain a positive and energetic environment at our office, not only making work a nice place to go to everyday, but also allowing you to do the best work you can with your patients.
We treat ages 18 and up both in person and via telehealth. The most common disorders we see in our clinic include anxiety, depression, ADHD, PMDD and perinatal mood issues.
Our nurse practitioners not only provide medication management services to patients, but are also trained in interventional psychiatric treatments that we offer in office. These include trans-cranial magnetic stimulation and Spravato (esketamine) treatments.
Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
- Provide health coaching and support to patients to promote mental wellness and adherence to treatment.
- Participate in utilization review processes to ensure appropriate care delivery.
- Document patient interactions and treatment progress using electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Stay current with best practices in psychiatric nursing and participate in ongoing professional development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $88,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
