About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Marketing Manager to lead all aspects of sales marketing, managing data and interacting with various departments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for market research, developing econometrics forecasting models, and evaluating market penetration by geographic area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research:
- Conduct thorough market research for new equipment, used equipment, equipment rental, parts, and service.
- Econometrics Forecasting Model:
- Develop and maintain an econometrics forecasting model for all areas in Linder's footprint, covering industry and market segment statistics.
- Market Penetration:
- Evaluate market penetration by geographic area and identify opportunities for growth.
- Marketing Reports:
- Create and maintain economic and demographic intelligence modeling systems for all markets covered by the company, including marketing reports.
- Performance Standards:
- Develop performance standards and measurement systems for market penetration by product or service.
- Market Surveys:
- Perform and coordinate market and opinion surveys to inform business decisions.
- Advertising Programs:
- Develop and create advertising programs to reach target audiences.
- Sales Documents:
- Develop and create sales documents and sales aids required to achieve company objectives.
- Communication:
- Communicate marketing information to the sales force and management.
- Progress Monitoring:
- Continuously monitor progress in all markets to determine if sales and marketing goals are being met and recommend actions if goals are not being achieved.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.
- Ten years of marketing experience, preferably in the equipment industry.
- Knowledge of market systems and modeling techniques.
- Strong statistical, research, and math skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Highly motivated individual with a passion for marketing.
