The Landscape Enhancement Designer position is a hands-on, full-time position with day-to-day duties that include extensive interaction with clients selling small-mid level enhancement design projects. This position will require meeting with prospective clients to determine their goals and objectives, generating estimates, and assisting during the construction phase to ensure clients visions are translated through installation. They will be expected to find and capture sales leads.
Salary: $55k to $90k (including commission)depending on education and experience.

Essential Duties And Major Responsibilities
- Generates estimates and budgets, creating and processing change orders and proposals within company provided timeline
- Delivers presentations to customers and prospective customers that highlight Lindgren’s brand, products, and services to engage new business and achieve sales goals
- Build professional relationships and ensure customer satisfaction with customers and dealers
- Respond to sales inquiries and requests by phone, electronically and in-person
- Recommend and educate customers on design solutions for building needs or requirements
- Track and analyze sales, fabrication and delivery and share this activity with management
- Regularly visit construction sites to ensure client’s vision is implemented
- Create and process change orders and assist in the review and collection of client invoicing
- Review and present estimates, budgets, and phasing plans for client
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and escalate priority issues
- Enter new customer information into system and create and maintain organized sales files according to company procedure
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Education:Landscape/Horticulture degree, or related field required.
Experience
- Strong horticulture knowledge, xeriscape and landscape best practices required
- Estimating and job costing experience required
- Two years of sales experience required
- Master Gardener, Nursery or Garden Center experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication (Bilingual preferred), well versed in phone etiquette and customer service.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and square footage.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and CRM software programs
- Exceptional time-management and attention to detail skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and approved driving record by insurance
