What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Aerobics Instructor - Part-time position at Lindon City?
General Duties: Under the close supervision of the Aquatics Manager and Coordinator, the Water Aerobics Instructor will plan and operate various fitness classes at the Aquatics Center. The instructor will plan, organize, and run the class that fits to a variety of different participants. They will greet members, have an upbeat positive attitude, be motivated and energetic, teach and build skills, water safety topics, etc. Additionally, employees will be required to assist staff and perform other related work duties as assigned.

Work with management to ensure proper equipment is provide for the class
Additionally, employees will be required to assist staff and perform other related work duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: Must be a minimum of 17 years old to apply, hold a current First-Aid/CPR/AED Certification or able to obtain re-certification within a month of hiring. The facility will certify in First-Aid/CPR/AED if applicant does not currently hold certification. The ideal candidate should possess the knowledge and experience in water fitness curriculum to present and implement a water aerobics class.
Experience: Must have communication skills to communicate effectively and efficiently with the participants and other water fitness teaching experience.
Preferred Experience: Optional certifications and experience include Lifeguard certification and other Water Aerobics Instruction Certification (ASFA, Aqua Zumba License, etc.)

Pay Range: Seasonal Range 4, $13.68-$17.10 DOE
