What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fashion PR Intern position at Lindsey Media?
Lindsey Media is seeking interns for the Summer 2025 semester, commencing from May 27th and concluding no later than August 29th, subject to your academic schedule. You will report to our Hudson Square office a minimum of 3 full days per week during your approved course. Please expect to commit to a minimum of 10 weeks within the 14-week season, in coordination with your academic credit requirements and eligibility.
Note this is an unpaid internship with a stipend to cover commute and lunch. Candidates must be actively enrolled in a higher education program focused on marketing/communications. As a small, founder-led business, we are best suited to interns who are actively preparing for the job market rather than beginning their career exploration.
This position requires a high degree of attention to detail, organization, and writing skills for several accessory and fashion clients in a high-activity startup company office. Candidates will be dealing with top tier editors and stylists, and will need to have excellent communication skills.
Duties include:
- Drafting market pitches to send to editors and journalists
- Researching celebrity and influencer opportunities for product marketing
- Trafficking samples in and out of our showroom inventory on a constant basis
- Assisting in the development and production of occasional client-facing events
Requirements:
- Experience with Launchmetrics (formerly known as Fashion GPS)
- At least 1 prior internship at a PR agency or magazine coordinating fashion and accessories samples
- Proficiency with Google Workspace tools
- Self-sufficiency, resourcefulness, and an ability to be productive without supervision
