Job Summary
The Assisted Living Community Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being and quality of life for our residents. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the assisted living facility to ensure high-quality care for residents.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each resident, including those with dementia or memory care requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to staff in delivering compassionate care and recreational therapy programs.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs to adjust care plans as necessary.
- Facilitate communication between residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Organize training sessions for staff on best practices in long-term care and aging issues counseling.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to assisted living facilities.
- Foster a positive community atmosphere by planning engaging activities that promote social interaction among residents.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or long-term care is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dementia care practices and aging issues counseling is essential.
