We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Specialist to join our team. Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Monitor patient health by observing and reporting changes in their condition.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive environment.
• Assist with mobility and physical activities, including lifting and transferring patients as needed.
• Implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs, including memory care for those with cognitive impairments.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient observations and progress accurately.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home health or caregiving roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of CPR techniques and emergency response procedures is essential.
• Ability to assist individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Strong observational skills for effective patient monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and their families.
• Physical ability to lift and assist patients as required.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.10 - $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
