Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and providing leadership to our direct care team. This position requires a strong understanding of long-term care services. The Clinical Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for fostering a collaborative environment that promotes high-quality resident care.
Duties
- Supervise and support direct care staff in delivering exceptional patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare standards and regulations.
- Completes initial assessment of prospective residents and develops a proposed service plan prior to the date on which a resident signs a residency agreement or moves in, if possible.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and streamline processes.
- Provide training and mentorship to new staff members on clinical practices and policies.
- Address any issues related to patient care or staff performance promptly and effectively.
- Works with executive director to assure emergency procedures are in place and staff is trained on these procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience in a clinical supervisory role or similar position within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge long-term care services.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
- Have two years of work experience related to Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias, or in health care, gerontology, or another related field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
