We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing them with exceptional service while assisting with their purchases. Your expertise in cash handling and product knowledge will contribute to a positive shopping experience. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in grocery, retail, or food service who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

Duties

• Provide product recommendations and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized counter area, ensuring all products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage effectively with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• A proactive approach to upselling products and enhancing the customer experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $20.45 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
