Auto Accessories Sales Associate

LINE-X of Round Rock is seeking to fill the position of Automotive Accessories Sales Associate. Ideal candidates must be dependable, hardworking, and take pride in their work. Experience with and a good working knowledge of automotive parts and accessories are required to be considered for this position.

This position reports directly to the Shop Manager. The ideal candidate must be able to perform job duties with minimal supervision after training is complete. The primary responsibility of the Automotive Accessories Sales Associate is to assist customers in ordering automotive accessories and scheduling them for installation, answering customer inquiries, processing sales, and maintaining the showroom and displays. On occasion, you may be required to assist the shop staff in installing automotive accessories and prepping vehicles for spraying LINE-X protective coatings.

Our business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position offers 20-40 hours per week.

Description of Duties:

• Promptly and courteously serve customers in person and over the phone in selecting the right automobile accessories for their needs, and provide detailed product information and pricing.
• Treat customers fairly and with honesty and demonstrate our commitment to quality and superior customer service.
• Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers he/she encounters.
• Assist in handling customer complaints and concerns and make sure the problem is corrected to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Demonstrate and explain the features and benefits of various accessories
• Keep the showroom clean and orderly and support the setup and organization of display areas.
• Order parts and supplies for upcoming projects.
• Receive incoming parts; verify receiving documents, and ensure correct parts were delivered and inspect incoming parts for defects.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently following prescribed cash, credit, and check processing procedures.
• Process warranties and returns as needed.

· Perform incoming vehicle inspections and conduct post accessory installation inspections with customers.

· Assist shop staff with installing accessories and prepping vehicles for protective coatings as needed.

• Strong sales aptitude, the ability to finalize deals and drive tasks to closure.

• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office

· Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and a good driving record.

· Strong work history (including good attendance and good safety record.)

• Ability to lift and handle heavy products when needed (up to 80lbs.)

· Demonstrate an interest in growing with the business

· Maintain a tidy, professional appearance
