Job Details
Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus. |
Prepare and serve meals that are palatable & appetizing in appearance. |
Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures. |
Prepare food for therapeutic diets in accordance with planned menus. |
Prepare food in accordance with standardized recipes and special diets. |
Be sure that appropriate equipment and utensils are provided with resident’s meal service. |
Assist in serving meals, as necessary and on a timely basis. |
Assist with food preparation for special events, holidays etc as directed. |
Make only authorized food substitutions. |
Prepare and serve alternative menu items as needed. |
Orders food and supplies as assigned. |
Performs cleaning duties as assigned. |
Ensure proper rotation of food. Dates and labels food as needed. |
Other duties as assigned. |
Adheres to dress code policy at all times. |
Adheres to time and attendance policy at all times. |
Practices safe work habits and follows all safety procedures of the workplace. |
Assures the safety, security, and wellbeing of our residents |
For Café Cook: Places complete food orders in a timely manner |
For Café Cook: Receives product delivery and verifies invoice and freshness of product. |
For Café Cook: Has knowledge of par stock and updates as necessary. |
