We are seeking an experienced Plant Operations Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the optimal functioning of our facilities and equipment.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities to prevent breakdowns and ensure safe operation
* Conduct repairs on mechanical assets, including plumbing and electrical systems
* Utilize power tools, cutting torches, and welding apparatus to cut or join metal parts
* Operate motorized lifts and rental equipment as needed
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school courses or certification preferred
* 1-2 years of experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
* Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures
* Basic computer skills and ability to use software applications
