We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician who brings hands-on experience in forklift/material handling equipment and/or refrigeration systems (ammonia, Freon, or CO₂). Whether your background is in warehouse equipment, refrigeration, or general facility maintenance—we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems that support our building, equipment, and facility operations.
- Maintain and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure everything runs safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and perform basic repairs on refrigeration systems, including ammonia or Freon-based systems.
- Document your maintenance work and communicate equipment status updates to your team daily.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment, including power tools, welding gear, lifts, and torches.
- Pitch in with other general maintenance tasks as needed.
- 1 year of experience in one or more of the following: forklift/material handling equipment maintenance, general building maintenance, or refrigeration (ammonia/Freon/CO₂ systems). Trade school or technical training counts, too!
- Comfortable with tools—power, hand, and diagnostic.
- Able to complete tasks independently and follow safety procedures.
- Basic computer skills to help with logging maintenance records.
- Good communication skills—you’ll be working closely with team members across the facility.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work in cold storage (-20°F/-25°C) or warm dry storage environments (up to 100°F), with proper gear provided.
- Flexible availability, including some weekend shifts if needed.
