What You’ll Do:
- Assist with preventative maintenance and minor repairs on machinery, equipment, and facility systems
- Learn how to inspect and maintain sensors, switches, and other automated components
- Support basic inspections of refrigeration systems
- Perform routine checks and upkeep of material handling equipment
- Operate tools and equipment such as power tools, cutting torches, and motorized lifts
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Take on additional hands-on tasks to support the team as needed
- Trade school training or basic experience in maintenance, equipment repair, or refrigeration (preferred but not required)
- Comfort using power tools and hand tools
- Basic computer skills and the ability to follow instructions
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Ability to problem-solve and stay organized in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions—from cold storage (-20°F / -25°C) to dry storage (up to 100°F / 37°C)
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs (23 kg) and work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
- Some locations may require working at heights and adapting to loud environments
