Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Work closely with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies for generating new sales leads and expanding market presence.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with local and global customers, ensuring a customer-first approach to meet their needs and business objectives.
- Proposal & RFP Management: Lead the creation and delivery of compelling proposal presentations and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), addressing prospective clients' business challenges with tailored solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales Managers and the Global Account team to sell a comprehensive suite of services across the Lineage network.
- Revenue Management: Ensure the timely collection of accounts receivable, driving financial performance and maintaining a focus on profitability.
- Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of pricing, sales activities, and reports to achieve maximum profit margins.
- KPI Monitoring: Regularly track and assess personal performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing updates on sales progress to Senior Management.
- Budget & Expense Control: Manage personal budget responsibilities and control expenses to remain aligned with company targets and guidelines.
- Operational Efficiency & Continuous Improvement: Work with the General Manager and leadership team to improve operational efficiencies and achieve continuous improvement targets in sales-related activities.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. At least 5 years of experience in sales and/or sales management.
- Sales Expertise: Proven experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management, including prospecting, selling, and closing new business.
- Service Knowledge: Ability to gain in-depth understanding of the company’s service offerings and leverage that knowledge to maximize sales opportunities.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external customers.
- Presentation & Leadership: Capable of leading discussions, delivering presentations, and communicating technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving & Decision Making: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in varying temperature conditions, ranging from -20°F (-25°C) in cold storage environments to 100°F (37°C) in dry storage, while wearing the necessary protective equipment.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends when needed.
- Environment Adaptability: Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels, including loud conditions at times.
