Firmware Engineer

We are seeking a Firmware Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll work on the firmware powering our in-vehicle telematics unit, including cellular network communications, Bluetooth, and CAN bus integration with the vehicle.

Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for multiple onshore manufacturing partners.
  • Design and integrate hardware, firmware, and backend technologies to address business challenges.
  • Develop end-to-end connected device solutions involving RF, embedded systems, and networked products.
  • Hands-on experience with RFID, Wireless 3G / 4G, and Bluetooth technologies.

Requirements :

  • 5 years of experience developing low-level firmware, including device drivers and board support packages.
  • Strong proficiency in C / C programming.
  • Ability to read hardware schematics and use test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers) for debugging firmware.
  • Previous experience working with ARM Cortex-M processors or other microcontrollers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
