SUMMARY
The Clinical Solutions Specialist will support the sale of products, clinical and service programs, for the assigned market territory. Responsible for developing longstanding, productive relationships between LINET Americas and healthcare facilities in defined area. Works closely with sales and service teams to provide support to implement comprehensive sales and clinical strategies for LINET Americas’ products and programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independently deliver expert training in healthcare capital medical equipment in a clinical setting. Answer questions related to product usage from a clinical perspective.
- Utilize all necessary training platforms for variety in the delivery of training to customers (LMS, Virtual Options, VR Goggles) that best support the understanding of the product.
- Manage relations with key hospital personnel and relay issues to Account Executives and Director of Clinical Operations as appropriate.
- Problem-solve to the resolve equipment issues identified escalate any issues as required.
- Rely upon personal clinical experiences as a basis for providing clinical guidance on the safe and practical use of manufacturer’s equipment.
- Competently and professionally interact with a broad range of key customers, including nursing, administration, PT/OT, radiology, environmental services, physicians, and maintenance/biomed staff.
- Support and collaborate with Account Executives to help close large opportunities.
- Identify potential customers for service and clinical programs, either to assist with the close of deals partnering with sales, etc.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have direct employee supervisory responsibility but may manage and direct the activities of per diem clinical consultants within the territory.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (MBA preferred), with studies in healthcare, preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years related experience in capital and medical device services and/or support;
- Experience of selling in the healthcare field; durable medical equipment solutions consulting preferred. Experience with staff education in a clinical setting.
- Understanding and experience in clinical environments;
- Able to rely on clinical experience and expertise while providing solution-based support during presentations, clinical trials and installations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business journals, financial reports, and contracts. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to customers, top management, public groups.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and offer appropriate solutions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift 25 lbs., push/pull hospital beds/furniture which weight up to 200 pounds. May be required to push and/or maneuver medical equipment throughout hospital corridors. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment will consist of employee’s home office and healthcare facilities.
TRAVEL
This position requires variable travel ranging from approximately 40% to 80%, primarily locally and regionally, occasionally nationally (i.e., company meetings, etc.). Overnight travel may be required, as well as travel via commercial air carrier.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Hire In Range for Position: $70,000 - $105,000, DOE
