Linfield University School of Nursing hires Adjunct Clinical Instructors for the prelicensure programs at various times throughout the year.
Adjunct clinical instructors teach face to face at clinical partner sites and on-campus in the simulation center (Experiential Learning Center).
We are seeking qualified applicants to teach in our clinical courses. Nursing program information can be reviewed here: https://www.linfield.edu/academics/nursing/index.html
The School of Nursing has 3 prelicensure programs:
- Traditional BSN with classes in Fall and Spring 15-week semesters: Fall is late August to mid-December; Spring is February to late May.
- Accelerated BSN with classes in accelerated 10-week semesters; Accelerated calendar has 4 terms per year (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall.)
- Master's Entry into Professional Nursing (MEPN) with classes in accelerated 10-week semesters
Review of applicants is ongoing during these months:
- March-April for Summer term (classes from June-August)
- May-June for Fall term (classes from August-December)
- November-December for Winter/Spring term (classes from January-May)

Linfield-Good Samaritan School of Nursing
2900 N.E. 132nd Ave. Portland, Oregon 97230
Clinical teaching sites may include the Portland metro area, Salem area, or Vancouver, Washington.
Required Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license; Washington RN license for some assignments.
- Minimum two years of current nursing practice experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in teaching using a variety of technologies
- Simulation education experience
- Master's degree in Nursing
