Position Type: Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite (Tues, Wed & Thurs.)
Contract Length: 8 months
Position Overview:
The Team Lead will support a project by researching best practices and standards in digital archiving, documenting current and future processes, and leading efforts in testing, training, and change management. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders, process modeling, development of user guides, and oversight of the solution's rollout to ensure a robust, sustainable digital archiving solution.
- 5 years of Team Lead or Senior Business Analysist experience
- 2 years of Project Management experience
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Working knowledge of ITIL and project management methods and techniques.
- Knowledge of business systems analysis principles, practices, and techniques
- Ability to analyze and interpret written and numerical information.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, Strong problem-solving skills, Strong analytical skills.
- Advanced skills using MS-Office suite (Excel, Word, Project, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of SharePoint
- Experience working with large enterprise system implementations.
- Ability to gather, correlate, and analyze facts for devising solutions to problems and making recommendations for improvement.
- Ability to develop written reports, charts, graphs, presentations, and other correspondence
Duties:
- Document the current and future processes for digital record center processing, accessioning, and archiving/preservation. Include process models.
- Create test scripts based on the documented requirements, system functionality, and to-be business processes.
- Lead the testing effort.
- Work with the solution provider to develop user guides and training materials based on the documented requirements, system functionality, and to-be business processes.
- Lead the training effort.
- Assist business users to implement processes to support the business solution (change management).
- Monitor stability of the project solution from testing to rollout
- Conduct structured walk-throughs or system inspections.
- Manage issues to closure.
- Develop and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts.
- Update / create training materials and provide user training.
- Guide users through new processes and help them acclimate to the changes.
- Direct and participate in the preparation of staff reports, procedural manuals, charts, forms, and other related materials.
