Position Overview:

Position Overview:
The Analyst will work to enhance Oracle-based applications by designing and implementing business processes, writing and optimizing PL/SQL programs, and improving performance through SQL tuning and data modeling. This role involves developing data interfaces, managing application code, providing production support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient system solutions and ensure seamless integration.
Duties:
- Develop and incorporate business processes to enhance the current applications using Oracle based technologies.
- Write and modify PL/SQL programs based on the requirements to extract data, integration, schedule jobs, application enhancements.
- Production support with specific emphasis on the development of changes related to data bound queries, sql tuning, pl/sql enhancements to get improved performance.
- Develop data interfaces, data transfer, relational diagrams, scheduling and application code management. Collaborate development activities with other team members. Create technical specification and other documents as required.
- Design, develop and write pl/sql code and enhance application code, tune sql code to get better performance. Developing relational data models and designs
- Identify issues with the application data, analyze and apply and provide emergency release and production support. Review application server issues and provide resolution.
- Write data exchange interfaces, job scheduling
- Update quality center defects/enhancements including test steps; code changes to build the knowledge base.
- Collaborate development and integration activities with other team members. Work with business groups, internal-external team to understand requirement to write efficient system programs.
- Provide support for production application.
- 7 years of experience working with java based web based applications using Oracle as the backend is required.
- 7 years of experience working with Oracle 11g/12c/18c Database or higher, SQL, PL/SQL programming.
- 7 years of strong designing, development, and troubleshooting skills required.
- 7 years of experience and knowledge of scheduling, data exchange interfaces, data analysis, relational data model and design required.
- 5 years of working experience with data security, data auditing and report generation required
- Knowledge of object-oriented design concepts, vulnerability scanning, XML, HTML, UNIX scripting, web scripting tools, APEX, GITHUB and CI/CD preferred.
