Position Overview:
This role is responsible for planning, constructing, and executing various tests while collaborating with others in the release control process. The experienced Tester, along with the applications testing specialist, ensures high-quality software releases by managing testing functions, improving processes, and working closely with the QA Lead.
Duties:Plan, construct, and execute various types of tests including product, system, unit, load, volume, and network tests.
Collaborate with team members on release control processes.
Manage, plan, construct, and execute tests as part of the testing and release control process.
Ensure high-quality software releases by managing testing functions and test environments.
Work with the QA Lead to assist in defining and improving software development and release processes.
Coordinate with Business Relationship Manager, Solutions Manager, and development teams for cross-group activities on the SURE Modernization Project.
Establish testing standards based on industry best practices using experience and methodologies.
Utilize knowledge of the following software products:
Team Foundation Server
Microsoft Test Manager
Soap UI - Ready API
Load UI/Load testing skills
SQL Server
LDAP
Microsoft SQL Reporting Services
Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or related business field, or equivalent experience
4 years of experience with SOAP UI, Load UI/Load Testing Skills, SQL Server, LDAP, and Microsoft SQL Reporting Services
5 years of experience with Microsoft Test Manager Suite or similar tools
5 years of experience with Microsoft Visio, Project software, and Team Foundation Server (DevOps version)
2 years of experience with Agile methodology
3 years of experience with testing efforts, including test plans, test scenarios for SIT and UAT, and organizing users to facilitate effective tests
