Senior Data Analyst
Location : Wilmington, DE - Local candidates only
Hybrid Role - 3 days / week on-site
Contract Role : 6 months - Contract to Hire
US Citizen or Permanent Resident
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to gather and validate requirements, validate designs, and develop database solutions
Required Skills :
- 7 years of experience as a Senior Database Analyst / Architect
- BS / MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
- Extensive experience in all aspects of Oracle SQL programming and query manipulation
- Experience working with MS SQL Server databases
- Extensive experience working with large sets of data and resolving data-oriented issues
- Extensive experience with data profiling and data quality assurance. This includes the understanding of creating an audit trail for peer review of work completed
- Extensive experience in tuning queries for optimal performance
- Ability to work directly with business users to quickly translate business reporting requests / requirements and produce a work product that has been vetted for quality and meets requirements as stated
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to investigate and identify query performance related issues
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
