Key Holder - The Lingle Corporation

Purpose:

The customer service associate key holder position functions as the person in charge when the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager are not in the location. 

Acting as a possible lead member of the store team, The keyholder will assist the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager with all Lingle Company policies and procedures. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • As a team, direct the assignment of all individual tasks within the store while in charge.
  • Possible opening of business as well as closing of business on any given business day
  • Accounting for each cashier till at the end of shifts and safely depositing tills into office safe. 
  • Preparing daily bank deposits
  • Ability to work in a multi task environment.
  • Ensure daily store conditions are aligned with the Lingle Company policy and customer expectations. Associates must follow compliance with all City, State, and Federal requirements.
  • Assist customers where possible and provide answers to product and payment-related queries
  • Refer customers to the right person to answer queries and deal with any problems
  • Accurately process sales using cash registers, scanners, or equipment
  • Accept cash, checks, and bankcards for payment
  • Process payments according to Lingle Corporation procedure, providing change for cash payments and issuing receipts for all payments received. Process returns and redeem food stamps and coupons.
  • Maintain accurate record of transactions, all while bagging merchandise. 
  • May be required to assist in other areas, such as shelf stocking, product display, pricing, and clean-up
  • Maintain a neat, tidy, and orderly work area

Job Requirements:

  • The ability to work independently with integrity and honesty
  • Must be dependable and flexible based on the needs of the business.
  • Must adhere to the Company dress code at all times.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift, push, pull, and grasp
  • Must have the ability to stand, walk, and/or move for extended periods of time
  • Regularly works in freezers, refrigerators, in and outside of the building in all weather conditions
