Sandwich Artist - The Lingle Corporation
Purpose:
The Sandwich Artist ensures that the deli department is adequately stocked with fresh, store made items that follow the standards set by the Lingle Company. This includes, but is not limited to: product knowledge, cold chain / quality assurance, food safety and sanitation, and managing a sense of customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
Complete the full process of creating deli sandwiches, wraps, and salads. Responsibilities include but are not limited to bread baking, washing, cutting, slicing, and chopping ingredients, assembling products, and packaging final products that are aligned with the Lingle Company policy and customer expectations. Associates must follow compliance with all City, State, and Federal requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- A positive attitude coupled with relevant experience, including hand tools and power equipment (slicers, ovens, and fryers)
- Effective communication skills.
- Must be dependable and flexible based on the needs of the business.
- Must adhere to the Company dress code at all times.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift, and transport various objects weighing up to 30lbs or more.
- Must have the ability to stand, walk, and/or move for extended periods of time
- Requires the ability to push, pull, grasp and use cutting and sawing motions for extended periods of time.
