Key Holder - The Lingle Corporation
Purpose :
The customer service associate key holder position functions as the person in charge when the Store Manager and / or Assistant Store Manager are not in the location.
Acting as a possible lead member of the store team, The keyholder will assist the Store Manager and / or Assistant Store Manager with all Lingle Company policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities :
- As a team, direct the assignment of all individual tasks within the store while in charge.
- Possible opening of business as well as closing of business on any given business day
- Accounting for each cashier till at the end of shifts and safely depositing tills into office safe.
- Preparing daily bank deposits
- Ability to work in a multi task environment.
- Ensure daily store conditions are aligned with the Lingle Company policy and customer expectations. Associates must follow compliance with all City, State, and Federal requirements.
- Assist customers where possible and provide answers to product and payment-related queries
- Refer customers to the right person to answer queries and deal with any problems
- Accurately process sales using cash registers, scanners, or equipment
- Accept cash, checks, and bankcards for payment
- Process payments according to Lingle Corporation procedure, providing change for cash payments and issuing receipts for all payments received. Process returns and redeem food stamps and coupons.
- Maintain accurate record of transactions, all while bagging merchandise.
- May be required to assist in other areas, such as shelf stocking, product display, pricing, and clean-up
- Maintain a neat, tidy, and orderly work area
