Location : Oklahoma City, OK
Starting Pay : $17.00 / hr
Job Summary :
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Fabrication Deburr Specialist to join our team in Oklahoma City. In this role, you will be responsible for removing burrs, nicks, and rough edges from sheet metal and steel plate, ensuring parts meet quality standards. This position requires hands-on work with various tools and equipment, including overhead cranes and grinders. Forklift certification is a plus, and candidates must be able to accurately measure materials and communicate effectively in English.
Key Responsibilities :
- Remove burrs, nicks, and rough edges from sheet metal and steel plate using manual and power tools.
- Perform grinding, deburring, cleaning, and finishing tasks on metal parts to ensure smooth surfaces.
- Cut and remove scrap materials as necessary.
- Safely operate overhead cranes to move heavy materials and parts.
- Accurately measure parts using a tape measure to verify specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
- Assist in additional fabrication duties as assigned by supervisors.
