Position : Maintenance Technician (Tier 3)
Type : Direct Hire
Pay : $30 / hr
Hours : Monday- Friday 6 : 00 am-3 : 00 pm
Location : Oklahoma City, OK
Job Summary
Perform a variety of maintenance tasks in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other areas. Assist with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of facility systems and equipment. Work under moderate supervision and follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Education Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Skills Required
Follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines. Work independently or as part of a team. Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and contractors. Read and follow verbal and written instructions. Walk, stand, and stoop for several hours daily, including walking between buildings in various weather conditions. Regularly lift, push, and pull objects within safety limits. Attention to detail and dedication to facility maintenance. Use computers, iPads, and iPhones. Use a multimeter. Operate hand and power tools such as hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers, saws, power screwdrivers, and drills. Drive forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, golf carts, and company trucks. Use ladders. Write and respond to emails and text messages. Essential Job Functions
Remove and replace faucets, drains, and work on commercial toilets and urinals. Repair toilet flanges, install toilets / urinals, and fix plumbing leaks. Perform construction tasks, including patching, taping, and finishing sheetrock for painting. Change filters, belts, motors, and verify oil levels. Work with pressure-bearing systems involving air and liquid. Perform mechanical alignments and troubleshoot failures on various equipment. Rebuild gearboxes and understand mechanical alignments. Follow Lockout / Tagout procedures. Remove and replace switches, plugs, light bulbs, and light fixtures. Diagnose electrical problems safely and accurately. Troubleshoot using PLC logic and understand 24V control circuits. Maintain a clean work environment. Follow all safety rules and attend safety training as needed. Utilize a work order system to log activities and document completed tasks. Work with or assist trades contractors for projects or complex repairs. Maintain buildings, sidewalks, and parking areas. Use ladders and operate company vehicles, forklifts, scissor lifts, and golf carts. Respond to work order requests promptly and professionally. Perform regular maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning, storage, and inventory. Benefits start first month after hire!
