As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and help expand our presence in the Toronto, Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Montreal, and Calgary area.
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Partnerships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Toronto, Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Montreal, or Calgary, building strategic partnerships with schools, community organizations, and parent groups.
- Plan and execute local marketing initiatives, including educational fairs, workshops, and community events, to increase brand visibility and engagement.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, educators, and institutional partners.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to promote LingoAce’s programs effectively.
Market Analysis & Strategy Development
- Conduct market research to identify trends, analyze competitor activity, and refine regional growth strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align resources and achieve market expansion goals.
Sales & Performance Management
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets to drive business growth in the local area.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on performance metrics, market insights, and progress toward objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the education sector.
- Must be located in the Montreal area. Strong connections and established partnerships within the local community are a significant advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with education landscape is a huge plus.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for events and meetings.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese is an advantage.
