Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to join our team and help us continue to deliver exceptional service to our valued customers.

As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department. You will lead a team of skilled technicians, ensuring that all work is performed efficiently and to the highest standards. Your role will be crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction, managing workflow, and driving the overall success of our service department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management:
    • Supervise and mentor service technicians and advisors.
    • Coordinate staff schedules and workload to optimize efficiency.
    • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure all customers receive outstanding service and support.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly.
    • Foster positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Operations & Workflow:
    • Oversee the scheduling and execution of all service appointments.
    • Monitor and manage work orders, ensuring timely completion.
    • Maintain an organized and efficient service area.
  • Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage the service department budget.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics.
    • Implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Quality Control:
    • Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits of completed work.
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Solid understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes.
  • Proficient in using service management software and tools.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
  • ASE certification or equivalent is preferred.
