Currently we have an Associate Product Technician role open. This position coordinates parts and service support for Link-Belt products.
Essential job functions include:
- Answer and facilitate responses on all DSR and distributor technical inquires
- Resolve issues while ensuring all Quality, Cost, and Delivery principles are applied to each resolution
- Communicate with product specialist, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and parts department to assure problems are followed through to satisfactory conclusion, while minimizing excess manpower involvement
- Review and resolve failure code reports
- Assist in warranty research on specific products
- Assist in the development of training and technical materials required, helping train distributors and resolving field issues
- Assist in service training as required
- Travel to field to assist in machine deliveries and troubleshooting as necessary to support field service
- Provide assistance/support Product Specialist as required gathering pertinent data
- Coordinate and participate in special projects as assigned by manager
General qualifications for this role:
- High School Diploma or GED
Certificate and or diploma from trade/vocational school preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years related to assembly or mechanical experience involving cranes/heavy equipment in an industrial manufacturing operation.
