Currently we have a Lean Systems Engineer role open on 1st shift. The Lean Systems Engineer will advance the Link-Belt Production system by developing, deploying, and managing lean systems and concepts to support the LBC strategic initiatives for process improvement across all areas of the company with a focus on education sustaining and reporting, an improved problem-solving methods.
Essential functions of the position include :
- Develop and deploy Lean / Continuous Improvement training
- Coach lean leadership concepts
- Participate in lean development of LBC suppliers, customers, and partners.
- Facilitate process improvements through Kaizen events and projects
- Apply lean concepts to product development processes
- Facilitate proper use of visual management companywide
- Develop training for lean leadership
- Coach and mentor lean leaders
- Other duties and special projects assigned
