Link House, Inc. is a private non-profit human service organization serving the Northeast Region of Massachusetts for the past 50 years and recently expanded services to include outpatient mental health and addiction services. The Center for Behavioral Health – CBH is looking for a full-time masters-level clinician to join its team.

The Residential Clinician reports directly to the Clinical Supervisor.

FLSA Status: Salaried, Exempt and additional compensation available for optional on-call rotation program!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Completion of intake and assessments as needed to determine the appropriate level of care
  • Completion of all required documentation in client file within set timeframes in accordance with state regulations and program policies and procedures
  • Work closely with residential staff, including Program Directors and Case Managers
  • Completion of individual treatment plan
  • Collaboration with collaterals, family, and other community supports
  • Ability to develop and facilitate group treatment
  • Ongoing individual, family, and couples counseling
  • Crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Harm reduction and recovery/safety planning as needed
  • Referrals to outside resources/services
  • Insurance authorizations and extensions as needed
  • Work as part of a team with consulting psychiatrist, nurse practitioner and all other staff
  • Professionally represent the mission of Link House Inc. and actively collaborate with all agency programs
  • Participate in supervision as required by state regulations
  • Attend staff meetings
  • Any other duties assigned by management

Supervisory / Management: No supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in counseling or related field with license preferred (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, LICSW, LADC 1)
  • Familiarity with ASAM Dimensions
  • Knowledge of insurance billing
  • Experience working with individuals diagnosed with substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders required
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and writing skills
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care
  • Familiarity with Electronic health Records
  • Flexible schedule (evenings required)
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings: Adam Walsh/DCF background check, CORI, and drug screen

Environment and Physical Requirements

  • This position operates in a Link House residential setting for the majority of the time.
  • There may be occasional work outside of the residential programs, such as in the outpatient clinic.
  • Some elements of the job are sedentary, but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move throughout the clinic

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
