The Senior Counsel, Leasing and Asset Management - West Coast will play an essential role in the legal department, overseeing Link's leasing and asset management activities in the West Coast. The ideal candidate will possess extensive legal expertise and a deep understanding of commercial real estate transactions. This position reports directly to the Associate General Counsel of Leasing and Asset Management and will collaborate closely with senior management to ensure Link's strategic objectives are achieved.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide legal counsel on all leasing and asset management matters, including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing lease agreements, amendments, and related documents.
- Advise on legal issues related to property management, tenant relations, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee and manage litigation and disputes related to leasing and asset management, working closely with outside counsel as necessary.
- Become a trusted business partner and collaborate with the finance, operations, and asset management teams to support and facilitate real estate transactions and initiatives.
- Ensure all lease documentation and processes align with company policies and strategic goals.
- Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate risks and protect the company's interests in leasing and asset management activities.
- Stay current with industry trends, legal developments, and best practices in leasing and asset management.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of reports to senior management as required.
- Supervise and mentor paralegals and legal staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
QUALIFICATIONS :
235,000 - $250,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
