Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Aerial Fiber optic installation crew to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge in Fiber optic installation and utility operations, with the ability to work safely and efficiently in high-pressure environments.
Responsibilities
- Operate bucket trucks and heavy equipment to access overhead lines and perform installations.
- Climb poles and structures safely to perform line work, including but not limited to installation.
- Work in team for optimum efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Send accurate reports every day by the end of the shift.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to read plans and construction map to build to completion.
- Ability to perform physical activities including but not limited to: Lifting and pulling objects over 70lbs. trucks and other heavy equipment safely.
- Ability to climb poles and work at heights comfortably.
- Familiarity with utility locating techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
