The Project Coordinator, Regional Construction, Link Parks supports the Link Parks Regional Construction Team in executing all capital expenditure, vacant space preparation & tenant improvement projects in his or her geographic area. CC’s will be responsible for supporting the budgeting, organizing, tracking, and execution of all projects in a timely and cost-effective manner. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs basic capital project management as determined by their direct supervisor.
- Supports their respective Supervisor in assisting with lease-based projects and vacant space preparation.
- Assists in the completion of scope of work documents, RFP’s and bid comparison forms for all project types and works through job creation and contract execution with the Construction Operations team.
- Establish good working relationships with vendors throughout the market to build a strong and positive reputation for LINK Logistics Real Estate.
- Provide support for contract & invoice related documentation for their team as well as maintaining up to date job data within Link’s data platform.
- Proactive coordination and communication with regional construction, construction operations, property management, and asset management teams.
- Uphold vendor selection integrity by adhering to corporate guidelines.
- Support regional reporting for monthly cash forecasting to the Construction Operations team
- Support timely project & budgetary updates along with respective backup documentation.
- Travel (both air travel and car depending on the market) an average of 2-3 days per week as necessary to oversee all construction related activities and any other related construction projects/issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction/building science, engineering or architecture and design strongly preferred.
- Commercial construction experience preferred; internship included.
- Working knowledge of new construction, renovation/rehab, development, and industrial construction is preferred.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and anticipate last minute changes with a team player mindset.
- Highly organized, able to prioritize with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to review and comprehend construction documents.
- Experience with project management software, Yardi, Adobe Acrobat, and
- Microsoft Office Suite with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Understanding of legal contracts, AIA documents, and other related construction draw forms is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
- Must possess a highly developed acumen in problem solving, communication, organization, and business analytics.
