About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee and manage the daily operations of commercial construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety protocols and ensure adherence to OSHA/HIOSH regulations.
- Prepare and submit daily field reports and timesheets using an online application.
- Attend and participate in Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings, fostering clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Coordinate with inspectors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage project budgets and allocate manpower efficiently.
- Work closely with Project Managers to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Develop and update project schedules, including issuing 3-week lookahead schedules on a weekly basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience as a Project Superintendent in commercial construction, with a proven track record managing ground-up and tenant improvement projects valued at $10M .
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Experience reviewing RFIs and submittals to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ability to maintain as-builts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to coordinate and schedule subcontractors, material suppliers, and field crews.
- Proficiency in critical path scheduling (MS Project preferred) and updating 3-week lookahead schedules.
- Proactive in problem-solving and addressing safety concerns.
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIOSH regulations.
- Ability to track and manage labor costs efficiently.
- Experience conducting pre-installation meetings with subcontractors.
- Proficiency with construction software (MS Project, MS Office, Bluebeam).

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
