Job description
The SEO Specialist should be skilled in tactically implementing both content marketing and Technical SEO fixes. A successful candidate must be able to execute SEO tasks quickly and effectively and be accountable for the implementation and optimization of client organic search efforts.
Position Responsibilities :
- Perform SEO technical audits via Screaming Frog to identify redirects, 4XX issues, crawling and indexing issues, image compression / sizing and alt text, XML Sitemaps, page speed and performance, proper usage of canonicals, HTML sitemaps, robots.txt, URL structure, site navigation, breadcrumbs, pagination, and HTTP status codes.
- content optimization for both existing and new content production, influencer identification and outreach, link-building campaigns, and social media integration
- Audit backlink profiles and identify toxic and lost backlinks Conduct keyword research heavily focused on user search intent to identify keyword targets and content gaps
- Write topical content outlines for writers.
- Conduct research and analysis for local listing optimization, citation generation, niche citation research and generation, content distribution, and reporting in support of the client's local search visibility.
- Google Business Profile optimization and maintenance
- Stay current on the latest SEO changes, trends, and technologies.
