Link Solutions Inc. is seeking a Windows System Administrator (IntermediateLevel) to join our team in Sierra Vista Arizona.

Must be a US Citizen
Active DoD Secret Clearance required
Nonremote (relocation incentive available)
Day work (Sunday Wednesday)

The Windows System Administrator will support the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) on Fort Huachuca. You will manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems. You will work across many teams and highlevel managers in the organization to design lead manage maintain track assets deploy implement troubleshoot and support the workforce environment. You will provide onsite support to ensure all network capabilities are available.

Job Responsibilities :

Provide tier 1 and 2 support to a global information system.

Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.

Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.

Sets up administrator and service accounts.

Maintains system documentation.

Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.

Make recommendations to purchase hardware / software coordinate installation and provide backup recovery.

Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.

Provide advice and training to endusers.

Provide guidance and work leadership to lessexperienced staff members.

Sunday Wednesday

8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM

Qualifications :

Must be a US Citizen.

Active DoD Secret Clearance

IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570 / DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security CE CCNA Security GICSP GSEC SSCP etc.)

Two (2) years or more of directly related experience in systems administration or a similar role.

Experience managing and maintaining computers on various operating systems.

Experience providing tier 1 and 2 support setting up administrator and service accounts and ensuring the integrity and security of servers and systems.

Computing environment certification in VMware (VCPDCV) or Cisco (CCNPDC) within 60 days of hire.

Preferred :

Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field with a comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.

IAT Level III Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570 / DoD 8140 (CASP CCNP Security CISA CISSP GCED GCIH etc.).

Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) servers experience.

Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.

Problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.

Strong selfstarter requiring minimal supervision.

Experience providing quality service and support for missioncritical systems and VIP end users.

Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

Superior organizational skills attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
