Manufacturing Technician/Assembler 2nd Shift
Orange, CA
Mon. – Fri.
2:00pm -10:30pm
18.00-19.00/hour
Training will be provided. A lead position is also available for candidates that have light supervision experience and coordination of manufacturing work orders on the production floor.
The Manufacturing Technician, under minimum supervision shall perform various production assembly operations:
• Connector assembly
• Termination of electrical contacts,
• Insert/over-molding,
• Labeling and packaging
, • In-process testing,
• Operation of basic hand tools.
Requirements:
• Experience with preparation, stripping, tinning, crimping and soldering of medical cables; encapsulation/epoxy operations; ultrasonic welding machines; and other various encapsulation tasks is preferred.
• IPC 610, IPC 620 and J-STD certification is preferred.
• Injection mold operator experience is preferred.
• Good analytical skills with ability to identify potential problems
• Basic measurement skills using tools and equipment such as rulers, scales, micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Excellent hand and eye coordination Education:
• Required: Minimum High School diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Two-year degree (Associates or technical certification) in electronics/advanced mechanics or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience in medical devices within a QSR/FDA r
