- Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a IT Consultant to join our team.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience with hands-on knowledge of:- Windows 11 OS upgrades and hardware replacement.
- Point of Sale (POS) system deployments and management.
- Mobile device migrations (particularly with AT&T and Verizon).
- Firmware updates for set-top boxes and other similar devices.
- PBX systems and network management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with IT equipment relocation and on-site support for events.
- Ability to work overnight during scheduled maintenance tasks (server reboots).
- Strong communication skills to work with various teams across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Upgrades and hardware replacement: manage the upgrade of 6,000-7,000 devices to Windows 11.
- Lead the replacement of 1,600 Point of Sale (POS) devices.
- Migrate approximately 2,000 cell phone lines to new carriers (AT&T and Verizon).
- One Link Firmware Update: manage the manual update of firmware for 800 set-top boxes.
- Oversee the upgrade of Everi Compliance Software.
- Plan and implement the replacement of outdated PBX equipment with new hardware.
- Perform routine server reboots as part of ongoing system maintenance (scheduled as recurring overnight tasks).
- Coordinate the relocation of IT equipment during the office remodel.
- Provide on-site IT support for special events.
