Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Project Manager – Information Management to join our team.
JOB SUMMARY
This position would be responsible for ensuring the integrity and efficiency of processes through expert management of information systems and data. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a range of technologies, possess strong project management skills, and have an understanding of election procedures and data governance.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, public administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
· Minimum five (5) years of experience in IT or information management; experience in the public sector or election processes is a preferred.
· Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or other relevant credentials in project management or cybersecurity would be a plus.
· Demonstrated expertise in project management, especially in executing technology solutions.
· Skilled in utilizing and overseeing ZenDesk, Microsoft Teams, and various integration tools.
· Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data and convert it into actionable insights.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse groups.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Oversee and manage technology platforms including ZenDesk for customer service, Microsoft Teams for collaboration, and various integration software to ensure seamless data flow between different systems.
· Ensure all software and systems used within the department are up-to-date, secure, and compliant with state and federal regulations.
· Develop and maintain data policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and accessibility for all election-related data.
· Work directly with county clients and election Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to manage and update documentation online, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to the most current information.
· Lead projects related to IT infrastructure, system upgrades, and integration of new technologies into the election processes.
· Coordinate with IT teams to implement and troubleshoot solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to election operations.
· Ensure all information management practices adhere to state laws, election regulations, and data protection standards.
· Develop and implement security protocols to protect sensitive election data against unauthorized access or breaches.
· Act as the primary liaison between IT, election officials, and county clients, providing support, training, and updates on system changes or new implementations.
· Present clear, concise reports and documentation to various stakeholders, including legislative bodies, on the status of election systems and data integrity.
