General Responsibilities / Job Summary :
The Training Associate is responsible for organizing, facilitating, and delivering training programs for retail team members, as well as internal team members and lower-level management staff.
Essential Functions / Duties :
Embrace the LINK corporate values of LIVE, INTEGRITY, NURTURE, KNOWLEDGE and infuse those values throughout the company.This position requires the employee to possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn, while providing superior client services to all members of LINKBANK.Partner with Director of Training and Development to execute departmental training plan.Effectively conduct employee training on bank systems, products, policies and compliance areas.Research and identify areas in which training is required and / or beneficial.Suggest and implement suitable changes for existing training modules.Work in Paylocity LMS as well as outside compliance training systems to assign training as needed for both new hires and existing team members. Assign and track annual compliance course completion.Designs, drafts or edits new training materials.Administers, scores, and logs results of learning assessments, tracks completion of assigned coursework and any outside training as reported by managers.Work with Training Associate and HR Support Associate to facilitate the completion of training set up prior to training day, reserve training room, secure needed audiovisual equipment, scheduling attendees, preparing and distributing training aids such as handouts and performing other related tasks.Participate in special implementation projects, particularly with the retail team to remain an educated resource on all Bank systems.Ensure confidentiality and privacy.Other duties as assigned.Requirements :
Minimum Qualifications :
Education / Training : High School Diploma.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Superior verbal and written skills.Excellent presentation and facilitator skills.Ability to engage with a classroom of trainees and maintain their attention.Adept with a variety of multimedia platforms and methods.Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.Excellent leadership skills.Attendance : Regular and predictable attendanceExperience : At least five to ten years (5-10) years' experience in retail banking functions. One year of managing or mentoring retail team members preferred. Consumer lending experience preferred.
Travel Requirements : Ability to travel to all locations in the bank’s footprint as needed. Including : PA, MD, VA, NJ, and DE
Physical and Mental Job Requirements :
Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.Manual dexterity for the functional operation of office equipment, computer terminal, and other office equipment.Mobility enough to coordinate activities in the department and lifting to 20 pounds may be occasionally required.
