You will lead the development of next-generation infrastructure and platforms for LinkedIn, including application and service delivery platforms, massively scalable data storage and replication systems, cutting-edge search platform, best-in-class AI platform, experimentation platform, privacy and compliance platform, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies and build systems to manage infrastructure capacity
- Lead teams that drive LinkedIn's capacity management infrastructure, ensuring efficient delivery of long-term and annual capacity forecasts
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams across the company to ensure high availability while enabling informed and strategic decisions around infrastructure costs
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 3 years of experience in software engineering/technical management and people management
- 7 years of industry experience in software design, development, and large-scale software engineering
- Experience programming in object-oriented and/or functional programming languages (like Java/CPP/Scala/etc.)
