- Conduct penetration tests aligned with ISO 27002 standards.
- Perform server configuration audits to identify and rectify vulnerabilities.
- Assess web application security and implement protective measures.
- Conduct assessments of telecommunications systems to identify vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop robust cybersecurity strategies.
- Train internal teams on penetration testing methodologies and tools.
- Serve as a resource for research, troubleshooting, and implementation tasks supporting JMU IT staff.
- Document findings and provide actionable recommendations to address risks.
- Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP).
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity.
- 6 years of experience performing advanced penetration tests for government agencies and educational institutions.
- Expertise in web application security assessments, server configuration audits, and ISO 27002-aligned testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in penetration testing tools and techniques.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
