Description
Linkitall LLC is seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist to manage the full contract lifecycle in a government contracting environment. This role involves ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, exceptional negotiation skills, and extensive knowledge of government contracting regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
Major responsibilities include (and not limited to)
- Develop, draft, and review contract terms and conditions to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Prepare contract documents, including procurement contracts, amendments, and modifications.
- Ensure contracts align with organizational policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Lead or assist in contract negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and clients.
- Resolve disputes or clarify terms during contract discussions.
- Ensure favorable terms for the organization while maintaining strong relationships.
- Maintain records of contract status, compliance, and modifications.
- Ensure contracts comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in laws or policies affecting contracts.
- Address and resolve contract disputes, claims, or issues.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts and associated documents.
- Prepare reports on contract statuses, performance metrics, and compliance issues.
- Respond to internal and external audits or inquiries regarding contracts.
- Work closely with legal, procurement, finance, and project management teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Certification in Contract Management (e.g., NCMA's CPCM, CFCM) is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in a government contracting environment.
- Experience with procurement processes, compliance, and risk management.
Skills
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
