Links Construction in Denton, TX is seeking to hire a Project Accountant to collaborate with the Project Team, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely invoices/payment application entries in Viewpoint, payment of all subcontractor invoices and owner payment application accuracy on owner forms or in Viewpoint. You will be responsible for project specific accounts payable, accounts receivables, and subcontractor compliance for the various construction projects. Do you have strong communication skills? Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as
computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, 40 hours or more per week. Hours of Operation are Monday - Friday, 8:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel:
This position generally does not require any travel.

Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years’ experience in Construction accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects
- Proficient in all MS Office software
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting
- Viewpoint, Sage CRE 300 (Timberline) or similar construction software
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Satisfactory results from a drug screen and background check.
Physical Demands:

This is a largely sedentary role, however some filing is required. This would require the ability to stand,
walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms lift files, open filing cabinets
and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. The employee is regularly required to:
- Talk and hear.
- Read, write, and speak English.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific visual abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
