Our client is a leading firm in the Aerospace and Defense Industry. This is a Contract role offering the opportunity to contribute to ensuring enterprise applications meet customer expectations and integrate seamlessly within the IT landscape.
Responsibilities of the Sr IT Quality Assurance Engineer :
Collaborate with functional and development teams to ensure enterprise applications meet customer expectations.
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases (manual and / or automated), and execute test cases.
Document all issues found during software application testing and work with development resources for resolution.
Provide testing progress status (via test execution results) and problem resolution status to management.
Identify and recommend improvements to current processes and procedures for enhanced software application testing efficiency.
Contribute to defining the testing strategy and automation strategy with the IT Quality Assurance Manager.
Qualifications of the Sr IT Quality Assurance Engineer :
Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
10 years of experience in software testing methodologies, techniques, and approaches for manual and automated testing.
Working knowledge of Agile development methodology and Scrum.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in creating and deploying successful automation test strategies that support shift-left initiatives.
Strong communication skills.
Detail-oriented.
